I wanted something that could work as both an everyday watch and something I could wear with a shirt or suit.
This turned out to be exactly that. The Wimbledon-style dial adds enough character to make it interesting while the silver case and bracelet keep everything classic.
The automatic movement has been reliable so far and the watch feels very comfortable throughout the day.
It’s not the loudest watch in my collection, but it might be the most versatile.
Green dials can sometimes look completely different online, so this was the part I was most unsure about when ordering.
Luckily the color is even better in person. It changes from fairly dark to much brighter depending on the light and works really well against the silver case.
The watch feels solid, the finishing is clean and the square design gives it a completely different wrist presence from my other watches.

The rose gold against the black dial looks very sharp in person. I was slightly worried it might look too flashy, but the darker dial balances everything nicely.

BUILD STORY
The photographed configuration combines a light dial with silver-tone outer bracelet links and gold-tone accents through the center links, bezel and crown. The mixed finish is the defining difference between this ModTime custom watch and the green-dial version with a silver-tone bracelet.
This build uses an NH35 automatic movement.
Choosing a two-tone finish
Choose this version if you want the metal-tone contrast to be as noticeable as the dial. The light face continues that brighter color direction, while the numbered inner ring and date window add detail within the round case.
Before ordering
Compare the case and bracelet together in the product photograph. Gold-tone describes appearance, not solid-gold construction. The model name and numbered ring are not confirmation of additional calendar or time-zone functions; ask ModTime to confirm any function that is essential to your choice.
