14-day statutory withdrawal

If you are a consumer who bought online, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods.

ModTime applies this withdrawal path to every standard product and variant currently offered through modtime.store. ModTime does not apply a personalised-goods exclusion to the current catalogue.

To withdraw, submit an unequivocal statement before the deadline in any of these ways:

• use the online return function at https://account.modtime.store by signing in, opening the relevant order and selecting the return option;
• email modtime.store@gmail.com; or
• post a statement to the seller address above.

The online function sends an automatic confirmation after submission. If the online function is temporarily unavailable, email or post remain available and your statutory rights are not affected. You may use the model form below, but it is not mandatory. Your withdrawal does not require prior approval; any later return instructions do not change the date on which you exercised the right.

Effects of withdrawal

ModTime reimburses all payments received from you, including the cost of the least expensive standard outbound delivery offered for the order, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal statement.

ModTime may withhold reimbursement until it receives the goods or evidence that they were sent back, whichever occurs first. Reimbursement uses the same payment method as the original transaction unless you expressly agree otherwise. ModTime does not charge a reimbursement fee.

Send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying ModTime. For a withdrawal without a product defect or seller error, you bear the direct return cost. Send returns to:

You are responsible only for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Goods that do not conform to the contract

The statutory complaint path is separate from withdrawal. If goods are defective, damaged, incorrect or otherwise do not conform to the contract, contact modtime.store@gmail.com with the order number and a description of the issue. Photos or video may help identify the issue but do not replace mandatory consumer rights.

Where mandatory law requires a remedy free of charge, ModTime bears the necessary costs, including required return transport. Available statutory remedies depend on the circumstances and may include repair or replacement and, where the legal conditions are met, price reduction or termination of the contract. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

ModTime responds to consumer complaints within 14 days unless a different mandatory rule applies.

Exchanges and 1-year workshop warranty

ModTime does not offer a general exchange programme for preference changes such as colour, style or size. A consumer may use statutory withdrawal and place a new order.

Every ModTime watch includes a 1-year workshop warranty covering verified mechanical defects and assembly faults under normal everyday use, as described on the Warranty & Support page. This commercial promise is separate from statutory withdrawal and statutory remedies for non-conforming goods. It does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
