Warranty & Support

Warranty & Support

A premium watch purchase should feel supported before the order, during the build and after delivery. With a custom watch, trust does not come only from the final photo. It comes from knowing what you are choosing, how the build is handled and where to go if you need help.

ModTime support is built around calm, direct guidance: understand the specification, choose the right configuration, receive the watch with confidence and have a clear path if something needs attention.

Before you buy: specification support

Many buyers are choosing their first serious custom watch. Others already know what they want and need precise answers. Both deserve clarity.

Before purchase, support should help with practical questions: movement choice, case style, bracelet or strap fit, dial identity, water-resistance option where offered and the difference between a cleaner build and a more branded presentation.

For technical context, start with Movements and Materials. For the build process itself, see How We Build.

During the build: confidence in the process

After an order is placed, the watch becomes a specific build. The configuration is reviewed, components are prepared, the watch is assembled by hand and the final piece is checked before dispatch.

The deeper process path is explained on Build Timeline, and the pre-dispatch inspection path is explained on Quality Check.

After delivery: support does not disappear

The customer relationship does not end when the parcel arrives. If a question comes up after delivery, the support path should be simple: contact ModTime with the order details, describe the issue clearly and include photos or video when that helps the team understand what you are seeing.

This is the tone ModTime should be known for: calm, useful and precise. No confusion, no exaggerated promises, no disappearing after the sale.

12-month warranty

Every ModTime watch includes a 12-month warranty. The warranty exists as a reassurance layer around the ownership experience and gives customers a clear support path after purchase while working alongside proper use, care guidance and product-specific specifications.

The exact warranty scope belongs in the official ModTime warranty terms. This page is not a full legal warranty document. Its role is to explain the support mindset and make the customer feel guided, not buried in fine print.

Care and use boundaries

Support also depends on clear use guidance. A water-resistant watch still needs proper care. A leather strap should not be treated like a rubber strap. A mechanical movement should be understood as a precision mechanism, not a sealed digital object.

For water rating language, see Water Resistance. For component and strap context, see Materials.

What good support should feel like

Good support is not loud. It is responsive, specific and useful. It helps the customer understand the watch, the build and the next step. That is the support standard ModTime should keep building toward as the brand grows.
