I wanted something that could work as both an everyday watch and something I could wear with a shirt or suit.
This turned out to be exactly that. The Wimbledon-style dial adds enough character to make it interesting while the silver case and bracelet keep everything classic.
The automatic movement has been reliable so far and the watch feels very comfortable throughout the day.
It’s not the loudest watch in my collection, but it might be the most versatile.
Green dials can sometimes look completely different online, so this was the part I was most unsure about when ordering.
Luckily the color is even better in person. It changes from fairly dark to much brighter depending on the light and works really well against the silver case.
The watch feels solid, the finishing is clean and the square design gives it a completely different wrist presence from my other watches.
I’ve worn it several times already and it always seems to start conversations.
I wanted something with a little color but still versatile enough to wear every day.
The black and blue bezel works perfectly because it looks fairly subtle indoors and becomes much more noticeable outside. The dial is clean and everything is very easy to read.
The automatic GMT movement has been working well and I like being able to track another time zone when travelling.

I liked this model in the photos, but I appreciated it much more after actually wearing it.
The olive-green dial has a lot of variation depending on the light. Sometimes it looks quite dark and understated, while outdoors the green becomes much more noticeable.

The Pepsi color combination was what initially caught my attention, but I think the Jubilee-style bracelet completes the watch.

I wanted a watch with a bit more presence for evenings and events and this combination works perfectly.
The rose gold against the black dial looks very sharp in person. I was slightly worried it might look too flashy, but the darker dial balances everything nicely.
The bracelet feels substantial and the watch has the kind of weight you expect from something premium. Finishing around the bezel and case is also very clean.
It gets attention without looking cheap or exaggerated. Very happy with this one.
This is definitely not a subtle watch, but that’s exactly why I bought it.
Being able to see the movement through the skeleton dial makes it much more interesting than a regular watch. I catch myself looking at it even when I don’t need to check the time.
The case and bracelet have a reassuring weight and the overall construction feels very solid. There are also a lot of small details that are difficult to appreciate from product photos.
If you enjoy mechanical watches and want something that becomes a conversation piece, this is a great option.

BUILD STORY
Black and silver make this chronograph the most direct dark-dial option in the group. The black center concentrates the visual weight, while the silver case and bracelet create enough separation for the timing display to remain structured. It feels sport-focused without depending on a bright accent color.
The VK63 meca-quartz movement gives the watch a working chronograph rather than decorative sub-dials. Its center 1/5-second timing hand measures short intervals, and the minute counter extends that use for longer tasks within the hour. The function adds a practical reason for the layered dial layout.
A 40 mm diameter and 12.5 mm thickness give this version familiar sport-watch proportions. The size provides room for the black dial and chronograph information while keeping the overall format easier to wear than a larger statement piece. The bracelet continues the silver frame around the wrist and keeps the presentation visually connected.
According to the current product specification, the watch uses sapphire crystal and a 904L stainless-steel case. Those details support the everyday purpose of the build, but the decisive feature remains the contrast: a dark dial contained by a brighter metal structure and activated by the VK63 timing system.
ModTime presents this as its own independent custom watch, with no claim of official connection to an outside manufacturer. Select this configuration if you want the chronograph function, a neutral black-and-silver palette and a 40 mm bracelet format in one clear package. It is a controlled alternative to panda layouts, where contrast comes from separate sub-dial colors rather than a continuous dark center.
