NH35, NH34 and NH38 are automatic movement families. VK63 is a meca-quartz chronograph, not an automatic. The word mod does not identify the power source, so check the calibre on each product page even when two watches look similar.

Look at the dial beyond its colour

Colour may attract you first. Next, look at hand and marker contrast, a date window, extra hands or counters. Decide whether you prefer a quiet layout or a detail that keeps drawing your attention.

Chocolate Open Heart is a specific example: its brown dial and visible movement create a distinct combination. Compare that with a full dial if a simpler view of the time matters more to you.

Fit is more than case diameter

Compare case diameter, thickness and bracelet or strap construction. Two watches with the same diameter can sit differently. A product photograph shows the design; a wrist photograph with a stated wrist circumference provides a more useful reference for proportions.

If a dimension or photograph is missing, ask about that model. Adjustable does not mean a guaranteed fit on every wrist.

Understand the names and options

Seiko mod and reference-style names describe search language, the component ecosystem or appearance. The identity of the complete watch remains ModTime. A movement name, case shape or dial mark does not establish an official factory model or authorisation from another brand.

Check LOGO / NO LOGO and ATM options for the individual offer. Ask for product-specific information if component origin matters to your decision. For water exposure, consult the water-resistance guidance.
