You may be travelling and want to keep home time in view, or staying put while speaking regularly with someone in another time zone. A GMT watch gives you another time display on the same dial. ModTime configurations listed with NH34 combine an automatic movement with an additional GMT hand.

Reading the second time zone

The regular hands show your chosen main time. Read the GMT hand against a 24-hour scale to distinguish daytime from night in the other location. For example, if the main time is 10:00 and the second zone is three hours ahead, its GMT indication is 13:00. This is an illustrative fixed offset; daylight-saving changes may require an adjustment.

Check the visibility of the extra hand and scale on the actual product. A two-colour bezel alone does not establish that a watch has a GMT movement.

NH34 uses an independently adjustable GMT hand

NH34 lets you set the 24-hour hand separately. This arrangement is commonly called caller GMT. It differs from traveller GMT movements with a separately adjustable main hour hand. The distinction explains the controls; it does not remove NH34’s second-time-zone function.

Compare the colour and bracelet

For a grey-and-black combination, look at GMT WATCH MOD BRUCE WAYNE DIAL with NH34. If Jubilee is part of your preference, compare GMT WATCH MOD PEPSI DIAL JUBILEE, whose offer identifies that bracelet. Check the exact configuration; Jubilee is not a default feature of every GMT in the collection.

Compare the case profile and contrast of the GMT hand as well as the finish. The second zone supplies a function; the proportions and colour influence whether you want to wear the watch every day.

GMT or chronograph?

GMT answers “what time is it there?” A chronograph answers “how much time has passed?” If you need elapsed-time measurement, read GMT vs chronograph and explore chronographs. More markings on a dial do not automatically provide the right function.

Check the variant and setting instructions

Confirm the calibre, dimensions, bracelet and available logo and ATM options before ordering. Use the instructions for the movement and the finished watch; a screw-down crown needs its own handling steps. Do not adjust the date during the movement manufacturer’s prohibited overnight interval.

Shipping Time and Costs

Each watch is hand-assembled within 4-6 days to ensure the highest quality and attention to detail.

Once completed, the shipping time is 7-12 days, depending on your location. While we aim for prompt delivery, some variations may occur based on the destination.

Please note: Due to the current global shipping conditions, especially related to parcel traffic in and out of the US, delivery times may occasionally be slightly extended. However, we do everything on our side to ensure the fastest possible handling and dispatch.

Are the watches water resistant?

ModTime watches use variant-dependent water-resistance options such as 3 ATM or 5 ATM. 3 ATM is intended for daily splashes and rain. 5 ATM gives more everyday margin, but custom watches should still be kept away from swimming, bathing, diving and prolonged water exposure unless a specific model is explicitly rated for that use.
